Good Friday Messages sms Prayers 2014 wishes Hope Farward

A Happy Friday Morning To Everyone! These Fridays come so fast as one gets older......Wooooooosh, and and here it's Friday again...LOL. Praise God for every Friday in our life.

PRAYER: Good Morning Father, Good Morning Jesus, Good Morning Holy Spirit! We are in deed glad that our prayers always rise up to You, like smoke from incense, that You hear our prayers and respond to them with blessings of love, grace, mercy, forgiveness, joy and peace. You hear even the quiet prayer of our hearts born out of faith. How blessed we are to have You as the center of our lives. Let us therefore rejoice and be glad and give You all praise. You are our God: our past, our present, and our future. We look forward to the day when we can worship You face-to-face. This we pray in the blessed name of Jesus our Lord, Amen!"

MESSAGE: JESUS, THE DIVINE TEACHER!
1. John now clarifies a common mistake that many of us are guilty of doing:
a. In John 3:4, Nicodemus confuses the things of God with the things of the flesh.
b. He though that Jesus was telling him to return to his mother's womb (to be born again).
2. Like Nicodemus, many do not understand God's plan for salvation.
a. To think of God's plan of salvation in human terms, makes no sense.
b. How can we be born again physically? It is impossible! But spiritually, well, that's something we have to learn to consider.
c. Yet, unless the Holy Spirit awakens the mind in us to the truth of God, there can be no understanding, and consequently, no salvation.
3. PICTURE THIS! Jesus stresses the need for the Father to draw men to the truth in John 6:44, and 65. God, not man, plays the most active role in the plan of salvation. Someone who chooses to believe in Jesus, does so only in response to the urging of God's Holy Spirit. Faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the Word of God (Rom 10:17). And we know from chapter 1 that Jesus is the Word of God. Did you think you had the most active role in God's plan of salvation? We need to learn to think in spiritual terms, not physical terms. To be continued Monday.

May we have everything we need together in Christ Jesus.
In His Teachings, Vic.
